I have not always been into monastic methods of Budo (martial arts & sciences). This Path began some 25 years ago and permeated itself through the meeting of great Minds of Great Asian Teachers throughout the world. The doors opened one-by-one as the search began for authenticity and the scientific approach's of Monastic Chuanfa in getting far away from the modern-day and sporting teachings of what is viewed here in the West; mainly, the United States. What I found was unbelievably far different than that what I have previously studied throughout my early years. being introduced to these various Teachings, did however, come at a price. That I never charge a single individual for these Teachings. This is a oath I have sworn and uphold to this very day. My door is not open to everyone but to every "Serious Student" who wished to learn a Path that has been around for centuries and never compromised for Egocentric methods we see today.

In 1996, Mitsugi Arakawa, Sensei received 'Precepts of Rites of Ordination' into the Order of the Chen Yen Shingon Mikkyo-'Mi Ching'. He served the Kongoryu-Ji's head Priest , 'Roku-Ban Tomio No Otomo' for a number of years until he was asked to head his own Temple in the United States, as Senior Monk.

In doing so, after special request by Mitsugi Arakawa, Sensei to the Buddhist Council, was the first 'Hoshi' (Monk of Chinese-Ryukyuan Lineage, 'Roshi' Monk of either Ryukyuan-Japanese or Japanese mainland Lineage) in affiliation to be granted full Independent status, due to his vast experience of attainment over the past 48 years of study.

After accepting the position of Senior Monk, a Sanction for a Prayer & Mediation Temple (not a Ritual Temple) was awarded him bearing the name ' Tenshin Ryushin-Ji ' Buddhist Temple. As Senior Monk, His Temple name of Ordination was changed from 'Mitsugi Arakawa', to 'Tenshin Arakawa, Shifu' (Master Father) Shichi-Ban Tomio No Otomo.

Hsing55

In 2000, a special fund was set up by Tenshin Arakawa, Shifu, the Tenshin Ryushin-Ji & the Tenshin Buddhist Council, to distribute funds on behalf of  the Office of His Holiness, Kundan, the Dalai Lama & the Namgryal Monastery; for the purpose of extracting Monks (Lama's) and other family members out of Tibet and housing them in other countries; offering edcation, University education where needed, food, clothing and medical assistance.  This was set forth between the relationship of Tenshin Arakawa, Shifu, His Holiness, Kundan, Dalai Lama and His Holiness Senior Monk,  the Venerable Nawang Chojor, Lama and the Namgyal Family, Tsering Namgraul & Chungkyi Namgrayal.

In addition to this, Prison Ministry in several states have been set up in order to assist those , who are or have become Buddhist.  The fund also helps anyone of any Spiritual or Religious ideology; that is, we do not close our doors in helping anyone who needs assistance, regardless of their Spiritual Path other than Buddhist.

In addition, we are a vast part of animals rights and come to the aid and assistance in helping save animals all over the country; not simply in the state we reside.
